Code and Approval Engineer (m/f/x)
What's the role?
In this role you will push the limits of our anchor channels by actively shaping the code framework for the design of anchor channels in construction industry, strategically integrating the latest research findings and product developments. You will build the bridge between the possibilities of development and the boundary conditions set by the code environment to make the most of our products. As a sparring partner for development and in close cooperation with the approval bodies you will coordinate the approval process for our products.

What does the role involve?
The code landscape is the level playing ground we compete on and which allows us to create differentiation with our products. A code and approvals engineer in our fully verticalized team strategically ensures that the playing field remains level and open to our products and operationally translates the code boundary conditions to outperforming approvals.
As and interface with research and marketing you define gaps in the code, help define and reach our long-term targets and initiate improvements. As interface with development you help tailoring our products to outperform being the sparring partner from approvals side. Last, but not least you coordinate the approvals process and the external entities involved.
The vertical team set-up in the Cast-In Anchor Channel team allow for short decision routes and an agile way of working with a highly motivated team. In this multi facet role you will grow quickly into the many facets of the Anchor Channel business, the original fastening method revived by digitalization.

What you need is:
- You hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
- You have a proven track record in developing in codes or approvals for fastening technologies
- Your working style is proactive and you have a “getting-things-done” approach
- You have strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment, excellent stakeholder management skills
- You are fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset)
