What's the role?

You are an enthusiastic and experienced simulation engineer. You have profound knowledge in the field of structural finite element simulations. Your passion is to directly impact on the development of innovative products with your knowledge and experience?
Your courage to find new solutions falls on fertile ground with us. With your creativity you drive constructive solutions for outstanding products in an interdisciplinary team.

Who is Hilti?

If you’re new to the industry, you might not have heard of us. We provide leading-edge tools, technologies, software and services for the global construction sector. We have a proud heritage, built over 75 years, and a worldwide reputation for pioneering products and exceptional service.

What does the role involve?

Your task is the computational modelling of complex assemblies under structural loads by using the finite element method. Along with geometrical nonlinearities (e.g. contacts) advanced material descriptions are crucial for the early and precise prediction of the system’s answer to the loading condition. With your analyses, you play an essential role in mastering technical challenges in the development of high-performing and weight-optimal products. At the same time, with your excellent predictions and your deep understanding of the system, you are building the basis to reduce the development time and the testing effort. Besides your direct contribution in the product development of our direct fastening tools and consumables you are involved in the enhancement and validation of our simulation methods. You take responsibility in the development projects as well as in projects to develop new ideas and methods.
