What's the role?

As visionary, pragmatic and experienced Talent Manager you will define the Global Talent Acquisition Strategy for the Hilti Group. In close collaboration with regional Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding, you will drive and steer the implementation of recruitment processes and systems to deliver a best/in/class candidate experience and contribute to the needed pipeline for best talents across the organization.

What does the role involve?

You will help to identify business needs, challenges and priorities to develop strategic workforce plans and design a talent acquisition strategy and associated programs that ensure the on-going pipeline of top talent to cover both volume hiring and strategic positions. Together with regional TA and IT functions you will shape, implement and maintain scalable processes, tools, systems and trainings necessary to support the recruiting function globally and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. Building a seamless cooperation with the global branding team, you will help to ensure we leverage the right channels, including a global framework of top universities to feed talents across the organization. You will establish a strategic TA KPI dashboard to support business steering. Keeping abreast of external trends and innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques and leveraging best practices around the world, you will bring TA at Hilti to the next level.

What you need is:

  • Proven experience of having formulated and implemented a talent acquisition strategy on an organizational level, a business level or a regional level;
  • International working experience, both in corporate and local functions covering different industries and geographies;
  • In depth know-how on external best practices / emerging innovation trends and state-of the-art sourcing techniques in the field of talent acquisition with a strong external network in this area;
  • Expertise in having developed a roadmap to fully leverage a network of top schools for talent across the global organization;
  • Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills and affinity to working with data;
  • Ability to collaborate across different areas and influence via matrix structures with no direct reporting line;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills at all hierarchy levels.
