Head of Testing, Business Unit Measuring
What's the role?
Together with your team of eight highly qualified testing engineers you ensure a superior quality of our measuring, layout and reality capture products by application focused Software and System testing. You will lead the team and define the strategic direction of testing within our Business Unit. What does the role involve?
Reporting directly to the Head of Development, you are a member of the R&D management team, driving the development of highly innovative system solutions for Measuring, Layout and Reality Capture tasks in construction industry as part of an international development setup.
You take over the line management of the testing team and support the personal development of the team members through regular coaching and selected training activities.
Together with your team you define the testing strategy including competence setup, processes, tool chain and methodologies and drive the strategy implementation in an efficient and consistent manner.
You assign your team members to the development projects and add resources from external SW and System testing suppliers as needed. You ensure that your team members develop and execute testing profiles for application focused testing of our product solutions. By doing this, you are making sure that our product solutions will have superior quality and thus contributing to a high satisfaction of our customers
As a member of the extended management team of the Business Unit you contribute to the definition and implementation of product roadmaps and other strategic initiatives.

What you need is:
- Technical university degree (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science or similar)
- Broad experience in different Software and System testing methods (Applied statistics and theory of error propagation, Test automation)
- Experience in development processes and project management in an industrial environment
- Leading and coaching people is one of your passions
- Collaborative team player with good communication skills
- Fluent English, German is a plus
