Intern - Anchor Design Method (m/f/x)
What's the role?
You will join the Codes & Approval team of BU Anchors, contribute to the development of a design method and be the owner for the implementation into a simple calculation tool.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability but preferred December 2021, duration for at least 3 months

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department, you’ll be part of the team dealing with codes, standards & approvals. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop one of Hilti’s design method to the next level.
Your key responsibilities will be to contribute to the development of an anchor design method. Our field engineers need a simple calculation tool to do designs on customer’s request. You will be responsible to implement the design method into a simple tool, e.g. MS Excel. Furthermore, you will contribute to other code work projects

What you need is:
- Bachelor/Master’s student in technical or engineering studies and completed at least 3 semesters (more is appreciated)
- Good knowledge of Engineering Mechanics and Mechanics of Materials
- Familiar with an independent work style and ready to take responsibility in own area of competence
- Good communication skills in English
