Intern - Development for Energy & Industry in Screw Fastening
What's the role?
In this role, you will be developing concepts for identified features to improve the existing S-BT system and bring it to the next level. You will be working on creating ideas and increasing their technical maturity using the agile SCRUM approach.
Embedded in an international development set-up, you will work together with manufacturing unit to bring concepts to a technical maturity allowing to make concept decision.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 6months

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of Screw Fastening Energy and Industry development team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop innovative solutions for the S-BT system and bringing ideas to a higher level of technical maturity .
Your key responsibilities will be working on the technology project which uses an agile approach for driving concept development. You will work closely with the project team and support from ideation to proof of concept. You will analyse customer requirements and needs, develop ideas and test them by prototyping, lab tests and / or simulations.
Your creativity and initiative help you to rapidly test ideas with a hands-on approach. The Screw Fastening department has a strong record of outstanding results and people development. What you need is:
- Bachelor or Master (preferred) student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science or related fields
- Experience in CAD, PowerPoint, Excel
- Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented
- Collaborative team-player
