Intern - Electrical Engineer for development of innovative drive concept
What's the role?
You will be working in a cross-functional team newly founded to develop highly innovative products for construction industry. You will investigate novel concepts of high power drives and the associated electronics for power tools and drive their optimization strongly contributing to further differentiate our tools from the competition.

What does the role involve?
You predominantly will have to look into various electrical actuator concepts which implies a wrap-up of existing papers but particularly scopes the identification and investigation of one highly efficient topology. Adequate simulation work shall be carried out in order to underpin key findings. Subsequently electronic components shall be sourced and compared with regards to weight, packaging and costs. A crucial part will be the evaluation of compact semiconductor switching elements in terms of durability in the context of a pulse application. Finally a prototype of the most promising variant shall be built up which may be used for further tests. Located in Schaan at our headquarters, you will closely cooperate with leading experts and suppliers in the field.

What you need is:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similarKnowledge in the field of high-current pulse power systems and linear drives will be an advantage
- Experience in electrical circuit design, familiar with doing measurements, tests and prototype build-upAdept in deploying adequate simulation software
- Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team
- High personal standard of performance and drive for resultStrong communication skills in English, German will be an asset
