Intern - Global Lean Management
What's the role?
You will be an active part of our Global Lean Team to work on projects and support the development and implementation of different aspects of Lean. You will help to drive the mindset in our international network together with us through workshops, trainings, projects and events.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability (Jan/Feb/Mar 2021), duration for 6 months.

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of Global Lean Team. You’ll work closely with our Lean Managers and experts to develop the next steps on our Hilti Lean-Journey towards the global business excellence.
Your key responsibilities will be to develop learning materials with a learner-centric approach for current and new Lean-topics and make it available for the global community. Create marketing and communication materials and transform the message creatively to the visuals attractive and user-friendly for everybody. Support international projects and initiatives and help to organize global workshops like Kaizen workshops and events like Lean exchange or Lean summit. You will interact with Managers across different hierarchical levels and be involved in the decision-making discussions.

What you need is:
- Bachelor or Master student with an engineering or management background
- Ideally previous touch point with Lean (university or work experience)
- Talent to structure and analyse data and problems
- Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
We take our time to get to know you. As part of your recruitment process, you’ll get to talk to your internship coach as well as your HR Manager who both can answer some of your burning questions.
