What's the role?

Take the Lead on defining the future Manufacturing Technologies and Materials. You will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for coordination of innovation management activities, assisting in innovation & ideation/exploration workshops for developing novel solutions for the future of Hilti organization in our Innovations Center.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 4-6 months

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department you’ll be part of the Materials and Manufacturing Technologies team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop new paths for defining the future Manufacturing Technologies and Materials as to enable future innovation of Hilti products. You will have close cooperation with our Business Units, Plants and external partners for learning new ways of manufacturing and influence Hilti products innovation. We have a top-notch team of experts available to support you every step of the way.

Your key responsibilities will be coordination of all innovation management procedures and workshop activities. You will have the chance to provide innovative solutions and drive the roadmap of manufacturing technologies of the future. Moreover, you will have close cooperation with our manufacturing organization and research partners for manufacturing technologies, and the opportunity to learn and participate in our international team.

What you need is:

  • Master or Bachelor student in mechanical engineering, materials sciences, or similar
  • Innovation management and workshops facilitation experience is preferred
  • Affinity to conceptional work and creativity in finding solutions
  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and ideally another language
