Intern - M&A and Strategic Controlling
What's the role?
At Hilti Group M&A and Strategic Controlling, you will work along-side project managers in Hilti’s M&A or strategic projects with key finance focus. As such, you will have substantial visibility to Hilti’s senior management team including BU executive, Corporate Finance leadership members and an opportunity to position yourself for a full-time career at Hilti.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 3-6 months

What does the role involve?
As an intern, you will be a member of a small high-profile team that drives the company M&A and Strategic Controlling projects. You will report direct to Project Managers from the team and work closely with our experts to drive the projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical and analytical skills in a diverse environment. You will also have significant exposure to our Finance leadership team.
Your key responsibilities include
- acquisition opportunity scouting, strategic fit and synergy analysis
- execution of buy-/sell side projects
- strategic controlling project with key finance focus
- manage project workstreams including key stakeholders’ alignment
- evaluate options and propose recommendations

What you need is:
- Current MBA candidate or Master student at a top business school
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in M&A related areas
- Strong analytical skills, high motivation and commitment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent English (written and oral), other language is a plus
