Intern - Marketing BU Anchors
What's the role?
Business unit Anchors is a worldwide leader in its market segment in the professional construction environment. We have continuously brought innovative solutions that solve customers’ problems always helping them “how to connect things” to different base materials. Given our strong market position Hilti is considered top-of-mind in most markets when it comes to anchors. In a unique internship setup, you’ll gain insights in global product marketing within one of the most innovative companies in the industry. Furthermore, you will gain an understanding of regional differences in construction industry and work with an international team throughout the globe.
Start date is flexible – preferred is April2020 – to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of the global marketing team, supporting on several ongoing projects such as industry digitalization & digital platforms or customer workflow understanding. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop solutions to generate additional benefits for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will be to support our global product managers in analysing new business opportunities, perform competitive analysis and market data analysis. Support the organization of company events. Take ownership of daily business support tasks and a dedicated project as part of your personal development journey

What you need is:
- BSc/MSc student in a business and/or engineering related discipline
- Engineering background in civil, industrial or mechanical engineering is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
- Ability to research information systematically and synthesize findings, driving new insights and recommendations
- Good Office knowledge on Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
