Improve the production and supply costs of a key product portfolio by optimizing the end to end supply chain performance through value stream mapping.

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of the global BU Materials Management and Supply team, responsible for global purchasing, global forecast, end to end inventories across the whole supply chain and service levels to Market organizations. You’ll work closely with our experts to map and optimize the end to end value stream of a key product portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will be to support the Global Materials Managers in daily business and in the value stream optimization of a key product group, identifying improvement potential and implementing creative solutions to reduce production and supply cost while improving availability and flexibility throughout the Supply chain.

What you need is:
- MSc Student in Industrial Engineering, Business or similiar
- Excellent analytical skills and high proficiency with associated tools (MS Office, incl. PowerPivot, PowerBI)
- Passion for creative tasks and high motivation to implement out-of-the box ideas
- Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
- Energy, courage and sharp thinking
- Experience with SAP ERP & SCM is a clear advantage
