Intern or thesis student – Guided Installation for the construction industry
What's the role?
Installation on the jobsite is still driven by 2D paper drawings. The task is to develop a concept for guided installation based on 3D models and mixed reality devices. The student will also have the possibility to implement the concept together with a development team and test it with customers.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 3-6 months

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of the BIM Tech Lab to drive the latest BIM technologies for Hilti. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop the setup of the BIM Tech Lab.
Your key responsibilities will be to create a functional prototype based on your understanding for the customer needs and also the existing technologies.

What you need is:
- Student in Engineering (E.g. civil, mechanical,…)
- Interest in new but also existing technologies (CAD)
- Basic understanding of construction projects and ideas to improve them
- Passion for innovation and product development
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
