Intern or Thesis student – innovative and flexible packaging concept for Hilti’s HQ consumables plant
What's the role?
You`ll be part of our local unit team and able to bring in your expertise to help us to bring our packaging to the next level. The project contains different aspects, such as defining a future state with stakeholders and crafting a path to the defined state. Here your communication skills are necessary equally as your engineering and innovation capabilities. The result of your concept has a high chance to be transferred into life.

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of the engineering team in the Metal anchor production in Schaan. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop a new concept for packaging of anchors and screws within in metal anchor department.
Your key responsibilities will be working on a concept incl. implementation plan for packaging of high-volume consumables. During this project you work in an interdisciplinary team and report the current progress to the management team. The role also includes the evaluation of lead time and manufacturing cost optimization in the packaging process.

What you need is:
- Master student in mechanical engineering or similar
- Preferably first experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic german language skills of advantage
- A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
