Intern or thesis student – Strategic Supply – International Supply Chain Optimization
What's the role?
The Material Group Strategy is the document that defines the planned approach to cost-effective sourcing of a certain product group. The definition and development of the Material Group Strategy lays the foundation for make-or-buy decisions, global, regional or local sourcing of products and it strongly influences the individual supplier strategies of the existing and/or future suppliers. Working in the strategic supply team of BU Direct Fastening, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop the Material Group Strategy for a global material group and thus contribute strongly to the global supply footprint of the BU. The candidate will work and get exposure in a cross-functionally environment, including the Material group responsible, marketing and global logistics organizations. Additionally, the intern will obtain a great understanding of a multinational company supply chain system.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months
