Intern – Product Development of Fastening Systems
What's the role?
As part of our development and testing team you will be responsible for supporting within development projects and testing of anchor systems for the construction industry. Driving of ideas and support the team on the running projects will be an everyday task for you. In addition, you will be able to bring new ideas, test them and evaluate their feasibility.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of our global anchor development team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop mechanical anchors together with our different departments such as production, marketing, logistics.
Your key responsibilities will be to carry out subprojects independently, this includes understanding the task, developing hypothesis and showing ways to evaluate them, running the analysis and drawing conclusion. Gaining understanding of the working principles of our anchoring system and supporting to maintain the high quality standards of our products. Identify the key elements to reach the required performance targets and create designs/concepts according to the requirements will be part of the work.

What you need is:
- Bachelor or Master student in Mechanical Engineering or related studies
- Methodical, confident and ambitious to reach targets
- Excellent MS Office Skills & CAD (NX) is a plus
- A thirst to learn and challenge yourself
- Highly adaptative, creative and perseverant
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and ideally another language
