Intern - Strategic Sourcing in BU PT&A
What's the role?
Contribute to strategy creation on the scope of: 1. abrasives disks, 2. stamping parts and 3. small quantities service parts. Run RFQs and benchmarks with suppliers, collect relevant quotations, make spread sheets with quotes analysis. Analyzing transportation options and evaluate cost of logistics. Be part of the decision on the strategic direction. Other hands on tasks to support strategic sourcing activities.
Start date is February 2019, duration for 3-6 months

What does the role involve?
As intern in our department you’ll be part of strategic sourcing team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop sourcing strategies to target best cost of ownership for specific material group.
Your key responsibilities will be: send Request for Quotations(RFQ) to suppliers, collect relevant quotations, make spread sheets with quotes analysis. Collect information on transportation roots, collect other relevant information to make a decision. Be part of the team deciding on the applicable sourcing strategy.

What you need is:
- Master student in supply chain, procurement, logistics or similar
- Analytical, hands on mind set
- A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills
