What's the role?

As lab technician in our multi-disciplinary materials research group, you will be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of our state-of-the-art labs (metallography, corrosion, tribology, and materials testing), while also carrying technical tasks on sample preparation and characterization.

What does the role involve?

This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and areas of responsibilities by working closely with our material experts, project managers and research engineers in a while range of materials research topics (metallography, corrosion, tribology, materials testing). You will do precise work in our material investigations such as sample preparation, testing, and results documentation. You will also help managing our state-of-the-art labs by being responsible for the calibration and maintenance of the equipment. We are looking for a hands-on experience person who likes working in laboratory environments and comfortable running multiple in parallel.

What you need is:

  • Technical education in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in working in a laboratory environment (comfortable operating and maintaining lab equipment)
