Program Manager for Structural Engineering Software
What's the role?
The SW Program Manager works in the core of the company, coordinates and facilitates global customer application software projects from ideation to launching in markets and as such is part of the team establishing SW as a new pillar of Hilti innovation and of strategic importance to the long-term company success.
This role interacts closely with business units, markets, software development partners, support functions, all across the globe to provide value creating software solutions on a global scale, always in the context of hardware, software and services coming together in creating a leading solution offering for Hilti customers.

What does the role involve?
Manage and run definition, development and market rollout projects for Hilti customer software. Create the overall project plan, document project deliverables, plan and align resource line-up across the relevant teams, mitigate risks, and as such enable delivery of project results within time, quality and budget constraints. Be the key point of contact to all cross-functional teams for software deliverables, driving consensus and accountability across all functions to meet committed program and project plans following agile principles. Monitor, track, and report progress towards program, project and product deliverables across all involved teams, working with other cross-functional groups within Hilti to manage dependencies and deliverables. Advocate Hilti SW solutions and manage stakeholders throughout the global matrix organization, interacting with all SW functions, internal and external business partners on a global scale.

What you need is:
- Solid educational background in the area of SW or related subject, master degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in program management or project management for commercial software in an international environment
- Excellent communication ability to summarize and present complex topics in simple and powerful terms to cross functional teams, stakeholders and top management
- Proven experience and strong ability in challenging, influencing, convincing & driving decisions
- Result orientation and demonstrated persistence towards achieving progress despite obstacles and short-term setbacks
- Global citizen with open mindset, used to working in an international environment with a multi-cultural team across multiple locations
