What's the role?

In this role you will drive the smart factory initiative in the plant. Within the manufacturing environment you will be part of the team challenge and further develop the overall digital transformation journey. Together with your global counterpart you will mutually shape the local industry 4.0 vision of an international manufacturing company. What does the role involve?

In this role, you conceptually and operationally drive the plant’s digital transformation journey. You will be part of the Lean manufacturing team reporting to the head of Lean in close collaboration with the global manufacturing strategy team. You will receive guidance on Industry 4.0 topics and implement use cases as well as roll-out the smart factory roadmap within the plant. Additionally, you will exchange with other Industry 4.0 experts in the manufacturing environment, for example in Mexico, China & Germany. You drive and further develop our industry 4.0 efforts and are responsible for leading and implementing digital transformation projects to take us to the next manufacturing level.

What you need is:

  • University Degree (Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or comparable academic degree)
  • Professional experience in industry 4.0 and application experience.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
  • Strong team skills, interest in working in a multinational team
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and German
  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
