Project Manager Software Operations
What's the role?
Join us in driving Hilti’s future business in Tool Services and IoT - as Project Manager - Software Operations based in our Headquarter in Schaan, Liechtenstein you will be part of a committed and international team within an agile work environment. You will plan, define and improve processes for our SW development tool chain and CI-CD pipeline as well as assume ownership of our production systems for IoT and Tool Service software applications.

What does the role involve?
As Project Manager – Software Operations, you plan, define, monitor and improve processes jointly with technical and domain experts in the development community. You manage international roll-out projects for customized SW deployments in specific regions and liaise with Hilti’s partners and service providers including SLA tracking and license management. With your excellent collaboration skills, you identify and fulfil needs of various stakeholders and take ownership for the availability, reliability and compliance of our SW solutions. You will manage a dedicated operations budget to drive dedicated initiatives to take our SW development and operations capabilities to the next level.

What you need is:
- University degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or business with a focus on software/IT
- Min. 2 years’ experience in system management or project management for cloud based customer facing web- and mobile applications, ideally with IoT-related solutions
- Excellent skills in technical project management, process definition and improvement
- Track record in managing DevOps methodologies in complex microservice environments
- Solid understanding of state-of-the art technology & toolchain (eg. Kubernetes, Gitlab)
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Fluency in English and willingness for international travels
