Senior Indirect Tax Manager
What's the role?
As a Senior Indirect Tax Manager, you will act as group wide in-house adviser and coordinator for indirect tax related questions in the course of day-to-day operations and interdisciplinary projects. Within our central tax department, you will use your high level of technical knowledge in indirect taxes and proven indirect tax expertise to work independently with various other teams at the corporate headquarters and in the local entities as well as with external tax advisors.

What does the role involve?
As Hilti’s Senior Indirect Tax Manager, you will coordinate the co-operation between global headquarters, locally operating Hilti entities in different parts of the world and external tax advisors to ensure feasible and pragmatic approaches / solutions considering equally business needs and tax requirements. Moreover, you will monitor and assess the legal changes in the international tax environment and initiate required changes within the Hilti group across the affected entities, departments and processes. The proactive monitoring function to identify indirect tax consequences of changes in the overall Hilti supply chain is another key responsibility. You will prepare Indirect Tax documentation and provide tailored Indirect Tax trainings across the Hilti group.

What you need is:
- Higher education in international tax or finance / accounting
- Strong Indirect Tax technical skills across national and international supplies of goods and services inside and outside the EU single market
- After a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the frequently complex fact base, your high degree of creativity and persistence will ensure practicable solutions
- Good understanding of Hilti business model or business model of another large enterprise, a plus
- Fluency in English (additional language skills, particularly in German, a plus)
