Strategic Project and Process Manager
What's the role?
You will lead the global definition of the purchase-to-pay process and system landscape in Procurement Indirect Materials. You design, develop and implement solutions to improve process efficiency, data transparency and compliance with state-of-the-art technologies like SAP ARIBA. You will orchestrate our Regional Finance and Procurement teams across the globe to provide a standardized global framework. You will ensure that we have the right technologies in place and leverage their usage across all Hilti organisations. You train yourself to gain a deep understanding of our system landscape first to become a driving force of our digital transformation journey.

What does the role involve?
Your work starts with a detailed understanding of our current processes, systems & tool landscape. It gives you the necessary insights and the fact base. You will then initiate and lead strategic projects to ensure operational excellence along the purchase-to-pay process involving existing or new solutions. As a champion of project management excellence, you start with conceptual and strategic brain work and analysis to define optimal processes on a global level. You make it concrete by formulation implementation roadmaps and lead the change management process. Stakeholder management ist key: you align global rollouts with regional organisation and orchestrate a global project team. Large, strategic projects are then in your direct responsibility. There can be bumpy roads as we procure in many different ways. So, although we are now well established, you need a broad personal portfolio to earn your seat at the table of the executive decision makers.

What you need is:
- Master studies in the field of supply chain, technology or business administration; MBA is a plus
- At least 5 years of professional experience with distinguished expertise in project management
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a working knowledge in process architecture
- Exceptional written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus
- Profound MS Offices skills; high level or affinity of IT systems such as SAP S4/HANA and SAP ARIBA
