We are searching an assertive and customer-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager (m/f) to take over the responsibility for Mechanical Components material group within our Supply Team in our Headquarter.

What does the role involve?

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager (m/f) you define, implement and lead material group strategy for Mechanical Components. Your key stakeholders are factories, development projects and marketing teams. You will drive assigned material group and related best technical/commercial solutions from development to serial production. Supplier panel definition, advanced negotiations, make or buy decisions, design to cost and other tools will be used to achieve targets. Within our strategic Supply Team, we strive to achieve best cost of ownership for material groups including operational excellence and fulfilment.

What you need is:

  • 3-5 years purchasing/sourcing experience;
  • University degree in a technical and/or business field;
  • Result oriented mind set;
  • Open to learn and share new ideas;
  • Proven track record of negotiations and savings;
