System Development Engineer for Fastening Solutions (m/f/x)
What's the role?
Your task is to lead the development of novel Fastening Solutions. You will move the idea starting from a conceptual and technology into a serial production product phase, targeting the commercialization in multiple countries around the globe. Together with the project team, your technical lead will be the key to successfully deliver a differentiated, reliable and valuable product for our customers.

What does the role involve?
As System Development Engineer in our team you’ll be part of an interdisciplinary development team working on the next technologies in the Fastening Industry. You’ll work closely with our experts and our markets on developing solutions to create value for our customers.
In your key responsibilities, you will lead the technical solution, you will conceptualize testing and qualification methods and you will be the interface to our suppliers for the industrialization part. You will be coordinating supporting resources from different organization both internal and external partners.
You will drive all product development phases from design to final validation, ending with a solution on the market. Your hands-on, entrepreneurial and proactive mentality will be needed to bring your visions to life including interdisciplinary engineering activities, e.g. ideation for solutions, design and laboratory work, data processing and analysis, enhancing usability, etc. You will go beyond the state-of the art to create an outstanding solution!

What you need is:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, mechatronic) or Physics (or equivalent)
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of sensing / measurement technologies
- Ideally you have a proven track record in developing System Solutions with proven experience in the field with min 5
- Your working style is proactive and you have a “getting-things-done”, target oriented approach
- You have strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a diverse and interdisciplinary team
- You are fluent in English (German is an asset)
