You find the top suppliers, intelligently leverage competitive forces and drive them to deliver their best. You identify opportunities to create value and efficiency. You accordingly influence stakeholders and suppliers to realise these opportunities.

What does the role involve?
Your work starts by understanding what to buy. Sometimes the obvious answer is right, other times you will need to challenge the status quo. To convince stakeholders you mix sound logic with appealing storylines. You assess the supplier and market landscape to determine optimal sourcing tactics. Your portfolio will vary – some projects will be in thousands of francs; others in millions. The next step is turning these into realistic project plans and implementing them. Whether it’s “old fashioned” tenders or e-auctions, you efficiently obtain highly competitive offers that deliver what stakeholders truly need. You treat unselected suppliers with respect, cognizant that in business we always meet more than once. Ongoing relationship management is your way to drive our suppliers to deliver top value for money over the entire contract lifetime.

Why should you apply?

What you need is:
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
- Flexible mind-set with result orientation
- Solid experience in planning and implementing projects
- University level education
