What's the role?
As a Project Manager in our Corporate Research & Technology centre, you use your creativity and engineering background to generate ideas, initiate and implement research and technology projects to prove your innovative concepts for new fastening and protection products. With your team colleagues, you work on the forefront of innovation for Hilti core businesses by applying the latest technology.

What does the role involve?
In this challenging position you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to expand technical leadership in the field of fastening and protection technology. Together with your team colleagues, you will be instrumental in identifying and driving mid- to long-term research and technology development for radical product innovations with high business impact for Hilti. You’re responsible for technology intelligence and ideation, defining targets and content of projects and implementing the projects by delivering functional concepts (fast prototyping). You will be in charge to research and integrate sensoring in our products. Being a project manager, you lead your project members and leverage internal competence and resource thru a strong external network and collaboration.

What you need is:
- MSc / PhD in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering with project experience
- Min. of 2 years of sensor integration industry experience, strong system engineering understanding
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work under uncertainty
- Creative, innovation driven mind-set combined with strong result orientation
- Fluency in English
