The Head of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) is part of the management team, will be reporting directly to the Global Head of Quality and be responsible to globally define and manage the development of our SQE organization. In strong collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, you design and implement SQE processes and concepts, take the organizational leadership and contribute to the further success of our business.
As an intern in the diamond inserts production department in headquarter in Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein, your responsibilities will cover supporting the Lean Management on agile solutions for process optimizations as well as focus on operational excellence topics within the context of industry 4.0. Your tasks will be to collect and assess practical use cases for industry 4.0 applications in the plant and drive proactively the implementation phase in the diamond inserts production. Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

Located in our newly established business unit Construction Services, you will built-up a completely new Quality System and organisation tailored specifically to the needs of Construction Services and the Hilti global presence.
You will be responsible for Quality in the highly dynamic environment of production of fasteners in Plant 1. From Quality Planning, non-conformance management to Supplier Quality you will ensure operational excellence and shape and improve the QMS of Plant 1.

From supporting the engineering team in their daily tasks your activities will also include driving innovation by leading continuous improvement processes in the production as well as focusing on industry 4.0 topics like data analytics and digitalization of production processes. As an intern in Lean / Quality Management you will be supporting the Head of Quality in Plant 1 to develop and implement new standards for support processes. Your main tasks will be conducting workshops, assisting in the creation and implementation of standards and creating a new platform for standards in Plant 1. Start date depending on the availability of the student, duration for at least 6 months
Support the Head of Quality at Hilti to implement the new Quality strategy on a global level. Your role would be to outline new concepts e.g. for tracking of costs-of-non-quality, supplier development or setting up a new Quality academy and conduct workshops with members of management. You also have contact with supplier and our production facilities to pilot the new concepts. Start date upon agreement, for 3-6 months
Own and continuously improve quality system, processes and risk framework for Hilti’s customer software, from early concept definition to release, ensuring the highest quality SW to Hilti’s customers, while at the same time preventing and mitigating Hilti’s risks. Interact with all SW functions, internal and external business partners and key stakeholders on a global scale.
