What does the role involve?

In this diverse role you will be responsible for quality management in product development projects as well as in product life cycle management projects. You will also be responsible for a defined product range and for the coordination and solving of product complaints. Through continual and close collaboration with the Development, Product Care and Production teams, you will act as the interface with external suppliers and monitor their compliance with our quality requirements. Furthermore, you will initiate and coordinate product improvements and own operational excellence projects for the Business Unit Fire Protection. As Quality Manager, you will oversee the review and implementation of quality-related processes at Hilti.

What you need is:

  • University degree in chemistry, chemical-/process engineering, environmental engineering or related fields
  • Several years of professional experience in quality, product development, supply or production in an internationally operating company
  • Very good knowledge of quality management (industry standards, methods and quality tools) and/or other continuous improvement programs
  • Experience with interdisciplinary/international project teams and knowledge in managing and controlling multidimensional projects
  • Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Assertive team player
  • Very good English language skills and international willingness to travel (German communication skills is an advantage)
